Connecticut native Valerie Conrod used to weigh 220 lbs.! Today, the 29 year old dental hygienist is a fit and trim 125 lbs. and will take the stage at Fitness New England in April. Valerie says, "I used to be very unhappy with life. I was able to change my life both mentally and physically and now want to serve as motivation to others." As herfirst show ever, she will compete in the Ms. Bikini Division, something she never fathomed a few years ago. "No matter how far you are away from your dreams, you can acheieve anything you set your mind to," Valerie says with personal experience and conviction.
