At the recent Model New Mexico Championships in Albuquerque, a stunning new competitor swept the show and surprised everyone. Cara Ovis is a University of New Mexico MBA business student and entered the show on a whim and some convincing from friends at her gym. Currently at a striking 5'8", 123 lbs., she actually used to be over weight. But with the encouragement of both her parents whom are both fitness fanatics, Cara lost over 45 lbs. and now has a beautiful presence to match her gracious personality. She is currently preparing for Model Universe in Miami and will face a more seasoned and veteran group of sports fitness models. But, no doubt Cara has an incredible future as commercial agents and talents scouts learn about this new, rising star.
